If you are experiencing the Snap&Read extension only highlighting the first or last word when using the text to speech option, you will need to check which voice you have selected under the Snap&Read options.

On a PC you should have the Microsoft Voice selected.

Steps:

1. Left click on Snap and Read icon in the upper right hand of your browser.

2. Select options from the menu that appears.

3. Under Speak click on the blue arrow pointing down.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the list.

5. Select the Microsoft Voice.*

6. Now have Snap&Read read the text again.

On a Mac you will have to make sure you have a system voice selected.

Steps:

1. Left click on Snap and Read icon in the upper right hand of your browser.

2. Select options from the menu that appears.

3. Under Speak click on the blue arrow pointing down.

4. You will see a list of voices.

5. You will need to select a system voice.
(A System voice will be one without the name Google in front of it. Example: Alex, Samantha)

6. Now have Snap&Read read the text again.

* Some Versions of Windows have Multiple Microsoft voices available.
