Check and make sure your iOS devices date is set to the current date.  If your devices date is incorrect your access token/cookie for the app may be seen as expired.

If the devices date is incorrect it may result in:

Being stuck on the login screen

You restart the app, you are logged in but it does not display your user details or sync your settings.
