Co:Writer Universal and Speech to Text.

An internet connection is required to use the Speech to Text option in Co:Writer Universal. The Co:Writer Chrome app in Kiosk mode and the Chrome Extension use the dictation feature Build into Chrome. Co:Writer Universal iOS uses the iOS devices build in dictation.  

Apple and Google do not process the Speech to Text locally on the device.  The Speech is processed on a cloud server and then sent back as text to the device.
