Steps to use the speaker tool in the PDF iOS annotator:

1.   Open the PDF in the Snap&Read iOS PDF annotator.

2.  Tap on the speaker tool.

3.  Tap in the text on the page to have Snap&Read start reading from that spot.*

4. Tap on the speaker tool a second time to turn it off.

Steps to have selected text spoken.

*If the mesage pops up, "Page does not contain any text. Would you like to ocr it? 

Tap on yes.  
Wait for the page to OCR.
Tap back in the page to have the text spoken.
Tap on the Speaker tool a second time to turn it off.
